PBS’ Rob Lippincott, Senior Vice President for Education, will share how media and technology are becoming more integral than ever for success in the classroom while offering insights gleaned from a recent national survey of educators about their current access to technology in classrooms.
While enjoying light refreshments, participants will hear the latest on PBS’ classroom education mission, including the newest tool for teachers - PBS LearningMedia, a free media-on-demand service that features a robust content library of more than 18,000 digital assets, including lesson plans, background essays, and discussion questions for PreK-12 educators that are designed and aligned to common core state standards.
